Winner’s Circle in Washington State

The Washington State Department of Health was trained by NC Prevention Partners in the fall of 2004. At this time they have launched Winner’s Circle in four Washington State counties. In addition, they are hosting trainings for local coordinators and have begun strategic planning for implementation of Winner’s Circle in schools.

Winner’s Circle in Washington State is lead by Amy Ellings, WA Department of Health Nutrition Program Specialist, and is closely partnered with WA communities participating in the Steps to a Healthier WA initiative.
